Sonotopia is a series of events developed in co-production with KUD Mreža, the founder of the FriFormA\V series (2018). It explores the intersections of contemporary music, sound art, and multimedia through concerts, installations, and audiovisual works, while continuing and expanding the foundations of FriFormA\V with a strong emphasis on the interdisciplinary interplay between art, technology, and science.

The programme brings together diverse artistic practices – from electroacoustic and electronic music to sound installations, visualizations, and performances – and opens up space for reflection on current social issues. A central part of the series is the research project Sounding Spomenik, which examines the sonic dimensions of revolutionary monuments and their role in cultural heritage.

Sonotopia also includes artist residencies, workshops, talks, as well as mentorship and educational programmes, fostering the development of new artistic practices while creating a dynamic space for encounters between artists and audiences.
