Twinning: Partnership meeting of Collective for Promotion of Contemporary Music Studio 6 and ON Rizom Institute

From 6 to 9 April, a meeting of partner organizations Collective for Promotion of Contemporary Music Studio 6 and ON Rizom Institute will take place, marking the close collaboration between them within the Sounding Spomenik project. With support from Culture Moves Europe residency program, in July 2024, audio and video recordings were made at two monuments in Serbia, at the Mausoleum of Struggle and Victory in Čačak (designed by architect Bogdan Bogdanović), and at the Mausoleum to the Fallen Insurgents' in Popina (also by Bogdan Bogdanović). The purpose of the meeting is to exchange knowledge and experience, along with a joint reflection on the unique approaches of both organizations. The public is invited to engage and co-create the Sounding Spomenik community on 8 April, to deepen the understanding of contemporary artistic practice, sound art, and the role of historical monuments in today's cultural discourse. The meeting is part of Twinning Program, organized by the Zagreb-based organization Kooperativa, supported by ERSTE Foundation.

Location: SCCA – SCCA – Project Room, Metelkova 6, 1000 Ljubljana
